Review:
This book is near flawless. If you listen to the audiobook, Joe Mantegna does an amazing job of acting out the different characters. If you love the movie, I would highly recommend checking this out. The only reason it doesn't get a 5 out of 5 is the meandering that Mario Puzo does in this book. There is one chapter in particular, vaginal correctional surgery one, that drags on for far too long. Luckily, Mario Puzo realized this fallacy in his book when writing the screenplay for the movie.
A warning should be given that this is not a "politically correct" book. There are some slurs, racial and sexual, that are thrown around and the violence is a bit gruesome at times. It is definitely not for young readers/listeners.
